Villages are global

Empire is an anomaly; the village is the norm.

The Americas holocaust is never denied by the indigenous First Nation Americans or the trafficked African kidnap victims enslaved by it; it is only and always denied by its beneficiaries and those who seek to maintain the privileges derived from it.

With Africa’s struggle for freedom moving into exciting uncharted territory, now is the time for what was passed on in darkness to be revealed into light.

History is just how we naturally transform our world and build our future here on earth. Abracadia’s way of doing that is by cultural action: words and music.

Abracadia’s historical purpose is to contribute to the rising tide of pan-Afrocentric Ubuntu. Constructive, anti-war and non-dualist, we do not advocate violent resistance against violent oppressors, nor do we assume adversarial status.

African wisdom is the most ancient, the source of humanity. It removes any grounds for conflict by respecting the principle of symbiosis between different cultures and values in our world eco-system. It flows in stream with the grain of human history.

The Americas holocaust named ‘capitalism’ that decimated Africa and its peoples has endured 500 years but now is in its death throes. It is the latest version of a failed experiment in living called called ‘empire’.

Particularly, corporate capitalism is the latest iteration of the European empire concept inherited from Scythians via Vikings and Goths. All came from the same experiment in living and all failed because they crush the humanity they feed on.

At root, empire is an anomaly; the village is the norm: how all indigenous aboriginal peoples live and always have done.

5,000 years of genocidal empire experiments on all continents is nothing but a blip in the 100,000 years history of homo sapiens. Empire began in Africa: Kush, Khemet, Aethiopia. The cultural renaissance that Abracadia is part of signifies the natural rebirth of 21st century Africa.

Oppressed no more, today we raise the flag of Ubuntu once again, hailing Africa’s rebirth from the waters, sounding the inevitable downfall of multi-genocidal colonialist capitalism.

If YOU are about that rebirth and want to be part of a constructive community of discourse towards it, don’t forget to check Abracadia’s weekly spoken word offering at the ‘Bit Of Soul Podcast’. Be great to see you there. Just roll up anytime to listen, chill and reason with the Abracadia community.

Until such time - In Ubuntu
