Wake Up To Ubuntu

‘Wake up’. The moon is high. No leaf; a plastic bag falls from the sky. Oh, my. But why? ….

A lovely guy as well as an esteemed composer and player, London based Jamaican, Dizzy Reece, wrote a great tune called ‘Wake Up’. It happens sometimes, you wake up the night and get it right. That was the true story behind his tune ‘Wake Up’. Dizzy didn’t just wake up at 2 a.m. with the tune in his head; he woke the night up with what was revealed to him.

And that is the story behind this short post too, a thought that woke me at 4:00 a.m. asking to be written down.

Politics isn’t a thing with me personally or with Abracadia in general. Sure, all art is political in the sense that it concerns our values and our perceptions of reality and our ways of signifying and relating. But so called party politics of blue v red is a turn off because we all know it’s controlled. Some call it two wings of a single bird, but it appears not to be anything that lofty or romantic, more like two floppy bingo wings.

Or maybe two flapping buttocks. And every five years the controllers take a crap, it’s called the general election. And the next gilded turd is squeezed from between two fetid flaps tattooed red and blue. Pah.

I remember growing up, every time there was talk of an election my beloved Chinese uncle asked me why I raugh. Haha! Kids.

So the country has recently gotten all excited like a teenage boy at an election. Now there’s a new government in London, the red buttock won this time. A new puppet in the punch and judy show for the sheeple to baaah baaah about.

It took a week or so for the country to fall into race-riots soo obviously stoked by the opposing buttock. Of course they didn’t succeed in their racist nationalist revolution, they were never meant to. They succeeded in wrongfooting the government though, which it hasn’t recovered from because no government could.

England, UK, Europe is becoming ungovernable for two reasons: 1 - The governments are so thoroughly corrupt that they do not serve the people at all, and 2 - the people are so thoroughly debased by life-long immersion in a system of elites’ monopoly on force, finance and information that they lack any foundation in critical thinking.

E.g. almost all the thousands of rioters in UK acted as if they made no link between increasing wealth inequality: the rapidly increasing wealth of billionaires and the deepening misery of their own lives and communities.

They actually believe the UK is turning to shite and they are right: No jobs, no youth clubs, NHS on its knees, high street dying, slavery, pornification, pedophilia, youth knife crime all rife, homeless veterans dossing on cardboard squares in shop doorways, child poverty back to Victorian levels.

But the rioters acted as if all of that is down to brownskinned people living here. It’s like they’ve been blinded. It never seemed to cross their mind that they’ve been shafted by the people with the most power, not by the only people weaker than themselves, those with the very least.

The rich own all the platforms that tell us what and how to think. And we can all be grateful they are there, can’t we: otherwise we’d come to see the young and old in unity, black and white, boy and girl, all people of good faith. There is nothing the rich fear more than unity of the poor.

That is why the rich have infiltrated and undermined the old Labour Party of Britain which once stood for solid humanitarian values, providing fundamentally beneficial things like free healthcare and free education for all people.

We can all breathe a big sigh of relief now that old Labour party has been destroyed by the rich media owners and co. Thank goodness, or badness, that there’s no more talk of free anything any more, or of the population feeling ownership of national assets that should more rightfully belong to the quing: air, light, water, food, the bare necessities of life.

In the 21st century, as the old left-right divide becomes increasingly irrelevant a new line of separation emerges. The great reset they call it. Everyone’s heard about it but nobody’s too sure exactly what it means. A whole bunch of stuff, most would probably say, and I’m sure they’d be right.

So here’s the scoop: the old Red V Blue trick won’t be Labour versus Tory in England any more, or demokkkrat vs republikkkan in amerikkka.

Those old divisions no longer serve the interests of the key investors and beneficiaries in the social system: the billionaires.

That’s why there’s no longer a discernable difference between left and right parties in the UK and US. That sphincter has sealed up, the flabby buttocks fused together in necrosis.

There’s a new division in town:

Globalist V Nationalist: The new all fascist buttface of democrazy. Nationalists like trump and farage, globalists like starmer and biden/harris.

The world figureheads of both are cartoon clowns: everyones favourite bond villain stereotype, nazi-raised claus schwab leads the globas. And racist-raised macdonald trump leads the nati march. Great for a movie, terrible for a world.

The globas and natis might sound opposed, they are meant to, like left and right, but they have a lot in common, revealing the intentions behind this new supposedly oppositional pairing. They are only oppositional like a thumb to fingers, enabling people to be grabbed.

Here’s my read of the new field:

Underlying psychology reflects behaviours that explain aims and policies.

Both nationalists and globalists emphasise ‘security’ first. By ‘security’ they mean omni-surveillance states that also serve the traditionally dominant military industries.

Both natis and globas are controlling and both promise intolerance of dissent, unlike the world of free-ish speech that prevailed for the prior hundred years or so in most Western democracies.

The globas and the natis are both oppressor regimes that want to make the present repeat the past, maintaining the abusive control of the many by the few.

Both fear humans’ historical nature by which we instinctively act to transform our world like an otter builds dams.

Who pays the piper calls the tune. Both natis and globas focus on extending the power of the billionaire elites who fund their political bodies and institutions. Politicians are just whipped up whores. It’s the pimps, the money men behind the scenes, who say what goes. Who says pimps don’t need shrinks? Have you met many?

The billionaire funders of globas and natis alike show an infantile lack of maturity and a lack of evolution in their thinking by still trying to oppress an inborn human behaviour that should instead be valued and allowed to benefit us all as a species.

Their failure to work with this fact and enjoy their potential role to enable great leaps for humankind shows not only the infantilism but also the fear-driven nature of the billionaire mindset.

The fear derives from their deep sense that they are way off track and locked into folly, riding a tiger they can’t get off.

Strictly speaking, in clinical terms, doubling down when one know one is off track signifies a level of denial classified as delusional. Delusion is a key marker of psychosis.

Much of the billionaires’ fear is irrational. The billionaire class need better analysts, not just more expensive ones. And not one’s who just agree with the client, ones big enough to challenge them. Good luck finding many.

I’m no stranger to working with rascals and rogues of all sorts, from urchins to tycoons, helping them to understand and control their own self-defeating behaviours. As a Doctor with more than 30 years research and practice in the field, I can say this much of the drivers of behavioural tendencies exhibited by the billionaire class as a whole:

Billionaires are all resigned to being unable to comprehend the realities of their actions to the lives of others. In this sense they are all resigned to infantilism and failure to grow into mentally strong elders.

Some may compensate with delusion, a sign of psychosis, by pretending wilfulness is strength and spite is purpose.

But wilfulness and spite are merely spoilt brat behaviours unsuited to strong minds born of endurance. All they signify is a resignation to deep seated inferiority, often displayed as cynicism, pessimism, nihilism and destruction.

Because of this stunted development most billionaires fail to realise how happy they could be if they could experience trust. They haven’t a clue where to turn because all their relationships are fundamentally insincere except when causing suffering.

Billionaires are a tormented bunch on the whole if you analyse it deeply, which is why so many of them lose themselves in drugs, drink, sexual perversion: Anything to distract. Anything to numb their awareness of their own wretchedness and of the wretched suffering they ultimately peddle to the rest of humanity. When you take more than you give in life it empties you out ultimately.

Other probable contributing factors feeding into this billionaire profile include resignation to causing harm and to sponsoring criminality. Many so called crime gangs or mafias are billionaire investors in all kinds of legit industries, not just entertainment, sport and leisure any more, but shipping, telecoms, energy, education, healthcare, insurance, arms, finance, you name it.

So far, we see then that globalism and nationalism are the new political poles of the 21st century.

And we have seen that both globas and natis look like what 20th century political analysts would have called right wing extremists with implicitly dictatorial tendencies.

And we have seen how these tendencies reflect the psychological type of the billionaire class who fund them, with both natis and globas being funded and controlled by deluded billionaires with unresolved obstacles to their own personal, social and emotional development (where integrity is compromised by unethical operations.)

That said, globalism and nationalism look like they would be experienced similarly by most people, just different gangs of fast talking thugs in suits exploiting the poor for the dons (euphemistically referred to in the media as ‘yewess and yewkay interests’).

There is a twin-buttocks cleft in the culture of the Western billionaire class:

Those who fund the globalists are international trade and finance capitalists uniting to continue their 500 year course of expansion, specifically now to defeat russia and china. and to conquer their lands.

Those who fund the nationalists are not Sino-Rus allies, they are just less expansionist. They are disaster capitalists who figure they’ve plundered all that’s safe to, and now want to maintain their footprint of rule in their own lands as dons of their block for ever.

Russia and China would probably prefer dealing with relatively isolationist nationalists instead of expansionist globalist invaders.

What would I prefer? Would I vote nati or globa?

That’s like asking a Rastaman if he prefers macdonalds or burger king. Ital vital, lowtal slow. There’s other ways that we can go.

Personally, I understand the fallibility of all systems.

The quest to discover and express and ameliorate the human condition is at the heart of all my work as a philosopher-artist, a Jazz philosopher. I think it is at the heart of all art.

My preferred model for human society is organic and community centred. Ideally, it is not based in urban settings so may be criticised for not dealing with the reality for most people on the planet.

I would argue that while it aims to escape from the city it takes into account the need to survive it in the meantime.

Besides, it’s only been for the past 20 years or so that humans have been a predominantly urban species. Until now most humans lived in the countryside, in villages and in towns. It could easily flip back that way, as systems continue breaking down due to endemic lack of integrity.

Personally, I doubt anyone in washington or westminster is fit to run things for Birmingham or Blackpool. They don’t know how life is there.

I’m not sure if saying that makes me a kind of anarchist, or maybe a kind of communitarian. As much as the Amish or Quakers maybe, or Buddhist monks. Or any community who lives by their own rules which do not go against the law of the land but aspire to more godly values with better mental health yielding greater happiness.

Urban neighbourhoods can be communities too, and in places like Havana, Cuba, they actually have crops growing in city squares and public parks. But Western urban cultures tend not to respect such facilities. Dogs, drunken lads, I’ve seen it tried and fail in artsy English towns, let alone big tough cities.

Some important ideals can only be realised on a smaller scale, it seems. Maybe the Ancient Greek Aristotle was right when he said the ideal ‘city-state’ would comprise no more than 10,000 citizens.

Neither capitalism nor communism can maintain equal fairness when they get too big. Ask any small business owner struggling to stay afloat against a tsunami of corporate monopoly. Urban life and economy is too fast and complex and too rough and rugged for simple slow-growing seedlings like small business and individual justice.

I’m all for local communities taking care of most things. They can manage their own affairs and collaborate on big projects if they want to, trainlines, power, telecoms, whatever.

I identify as being of an indigenous people, the Maroons. As such I do not presume any ideas of nation state are natural or automatically good or useful. No indigenous peoples operate with such concepts or systems.

I am no political scientist, but even I get that all nation states are economic management units. (‘economic’ means more than just finance, it is the structuring of all resources required for organised human life, including time, work, transport, food and so on.)

Corruption is likely to be smaller with smaller scale units.

Nation states are generally economic units or farms controlled by the elites. Globas say those nation states aren’t really needed so much any more because economic structures and operations have grown global in the 21st century, and so has the potential to control peoples. Natis look to exercise absolute control over their own ‘bit’ of the whole pie.

Communities make sense to me, nation states don’t and globalism’s off the scale of credible.

As nation states of the West crumble the phoenix of globalism arises, any megalomaniac’s wildest fantasy: one person ruling everyone in the world. And that person can’t see how childish he/she looks playing ‘I’m the king of the castle and you’re the dirty rascal’ in the playground. Infantile.

The alternative on offer is nationalism akin to Germany in the 30s, run by creepy trumpists and faragants. Its vaunted ‘isolationism’ is fake because it is premised on the full continuation and consolidation of armaments as the mainstay of the economy and on the continued control of resources in other parts of the world.

Nationalists are more like narrow minded nazis at home. Globalists put on more of a face of liberal minded pluralists at home.

Natis and globas share the billionaires’ mental dysfunction that both are based on, as seen in their shared racist White supremacism and in their sexism and in their classism and in their consistently demonstrated predilection for committing genocide.

On balance I think I’d prefer globalism because its aims are so big (a system of global control rather than just national).

All systems fail and the bigger the system the bigger the cracks in it.

There may simply be more wriggle room for resistance in a widely stretched globalist regime than in a more narrowly focused nationalist one.

It’s a crap choice though, both have surveillance up to the eyeballs and remote death at their fingertips, but maybe the globalists are trying to bite off more than they can chew with their global domination ultimate megalomania trip.
